Edward Sonshine, O.Ont., Q.C.
Chairman of the Board
Mr. Sonshine is Chief Executive Officer of RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Sonshine has been the Chief Executive Officer of RioCan since it became a REIT in late 1993 and has overseen its growth starting from an enterprise value of under $100 million to its current enterprise value in excess of $12.5 billion. Mr. Sonshine is a member of the board of directors of Royal Bank of Canada and Cineplex Inc. and is Chair of Chesswood Group Limited. Mr. Sonshine is active in the community and serves as Vice Chair of the Mount Sinai Hospital and as Chair of State of Israel Bonds/Canada-Israel Securities, Limited. In January of 2011, Mr. Sonshine was recognized for his entrepreneurial and philanthropic contributions to the community with the Order of Ontario.
Samuel L. Leeper
Director
Sam L. Leeper, former Chief Executive Officer of Pawnee, joined Pawnee in 1997 and was made President in 1999. Prior to joining Pawnee, Sam completed 27 years in banking focusing on credit and bank administration. He served as President of a number of Colorado banks and prior to joining Pawnee was Senior Vice President of Bank One, Colorado. His degree in Engineering and his MBA are from the University of Illinois and Indiana University respectively.
Clare R. Copeland
Director
Mr. Copeland is the Chief Executive Officer for Falls Management Company, a commercial development and casino in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Mr. Copeland is also Chairman of Toronto Hydro Corporation, a position he has held since 1999, and, from the beginning of 2000 until April 2002, Mr. Copeland was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of OSF Inc., a manufacturer of retail store interiors. From 1993 to May 1999, he was Chief Executive Officer of People’s Jewellers Corporation, a jewellery retailer. Mr. Copeland is also a trustee of RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust and is a director of Danier Leather Inc.
Robert J. Day
Director
Robert J. Day, founded Pawnee Leasing Corporation in 1982 and continues to serve on the board of directors of both Pawnee Leasing Corporation and Chesswood Group Limited. Mr. Day received his B.S. degree in Finance from the University of Tennessee in 1965. Following graduation he spent four years with the U.S. Marine Corps. Upon discharge from the Marines, he spent two years in banking and finance before returning to school and obtaining a degree in Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry in 1976.
Frederick Steiner

Mr. Steiner is founder and Chief Executive Officer of Imperial Coffee and Services Inc., and has been a board member of Chesswood for more than ten years.
Jeffrey Wortsman
Director
Jeffrey Wortsman is President and Chief Executive Officer and a director of Danier Leather Inc., a publicly traded company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Mr. Wortsman joined Danier Leather Inc. in 1986 and has overseen its growth from $15 million in sales to current sales of approximately $164 million . Mr. Wortsman is also a director of Hockey Life and he holds a B.A. in Economics, as well as LL.B. and MBA degrees.
David Obront
Director
Mr. Obront is President of DOit Investments Ltd., a money management and investment holding company. Mr. Obront holds his MBA from the University of Western Ontario and a BA Commerce/Economics from the University of Toronto.
